LA DOT Livable Streets

The City of LA asked The Glue to unify and rebrand its array of pedestrian and bike safety programs into one cohesive, searchable, responsive and geo-located website.

Using research, we created and delivered a site that makes it fun and easy to find projects near you, or anywhere in LA.

We developed and produced six videos that explain how physical improvements to streets can significantly reduce injuries and fatalities on our roads.

We used custom GIS-powered maps extensively to orient the projects, features and locations that benefit from safety improvements.

These maps are powered through robust integrations that

make keeping data up to date effortless.

  • Custom Map Design

We designed custom maps that emphasize roadways and public spaces over highways and cars.

  • Big Data GIS Integrations

We integrated with the City of LA’s data hub to pull the most up-to-date geo-spatial information on the web site.

  • React Headless CMS

In order to create the bespoke project elements that LADOT needed, we developed on a Headless CMS using React Redux.

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business.

    Development Operations

We built the technical infrastructure on the City’s Azure Cloud Environment for maximum security and scalability.

We created an entire cityscape true to the details unique to Los Angeles
